About

A Siddha clinic built on trust, not trends

Yaazh Siddha Clinic is a small, physician-led practice in Chennai — where classical Siddha medicine is offered with the warmth and clarity you'd expect from any good doctor.

Why we opened Yaazh

Traditional medicine only helps when patients understand it. Too often, Siddha care is either oversimplified online or buried in jargon in the clinic. We wanted a different experience: a quiet space, a doctor who listens, and treatment plans written in language you can take home to your family. Yaazh is named with intention — a reminder that healing is personal, patient by patient.

Our mission

Make Siddha medicine feel as trustworthy and understandable as the care you already expect from modern healthcare.

About Dr. P. Swarnalakshmi

Dr. P. Swarnalakshmi completed her BSMS with hospital training across general medicine and Siddha specialties. Over fifteen years, she has cared for patients with arthritis, diabetes, skin conditions, and stress-related illness — often people who had tried several approaches before finding Siddha. She is known in the clinic for explaining the 'why' behind every medicine — and for adjusting treatment patiently when life circumstances change.

How she consults

Consultations typically run longer than a standard clinic visit. She asks about sleep, appetite, stress, and daily routine — not to fill a form, but because Siddha diagnosis reads the whole picture. You leave with written guidance and a clear follow-up plan.

Values

What guides every visit

Three commitments we make to every patient who walks in.

01

Integrity

We prescribe only what the consultation warrants — no unnecessary medicines, no exaggerated claims.

02

Patience

Chronic conditions need time. We would rather review progress honestly than rush you out cured on paper.

03

Plain language

Tamil or English — you should understand your diagnosis, your diet, and your next step before you leave.

Diagnosis & treatment

Classical methods, explained for today

Assessment draws on pulse reading, history, and clinical examination where appropriate. Treatment may include herbal formulations prepared through established Siddha pharmacies, dietary changes, and daily routine advice. Records are kept securely so follow-up visits build on what came before — not starting from zero each time.

01

Thorough first consultation

Bring previous reports if you have them. We review everything together before suggesting treatment.

02

Formulations chosen for you

Medicines are selected for your constitution and condition — not a one-size-fits-all prescription.

03

Scheduled follow-up

Most patients return in 2–6 weeks initially. We track symptoms and adjust doses responsibly.
